OnSong 2023.1
OnSong 2023.1 was released on May 29, 2023. The following items have been added, changed or fixed:
Additions
- Added the ability to set a video file as a backing track. »
- Added the ability to change or adjust the pause behavior when playing videos as backing tracks. »
- Added the ability to cross fade or fade out videos that are started via tracks. »
- Added the ability to have two columns on chord widget when docking as an option. »
- Added the ability to turn on stanza navigation in the flow widget. »
- Added the ability to navigate flow section stanzas using the flow widget.
- Added the ability to select a video file to add as a multitrack stem.

Changes
- Changed the scene playback and going got next scene to align with the metronome.
- Changed the field in the mixer settings to say click/cue instead of just click.
- Changed text/tint color and background color into a Colors section in annotation settings.
- Changed the widget manager to turn off configuration mode on widgets when tapping elsewhere on the screen.
- Changed the widgets menu to close shortly after the widget is enabled.
- Changed the key text in the song to indicate the transposed instrument if selected.
- Changed the multitracks system to skip silence only if there’s only file stems.
- Changed the visual media picker to limit to videos for custom tracks.
- Changed the manage storage status label to be two lines when using a compact device in portrait orientation.
- Changed the background media library to be called the visual media library.
- Changed the switch section logic to account for stanzas so requesting "Verse 1" a second time will move to the second stanza of verse 1.
- Changed the way browsing collections works to show the collection items without immediately switching the song viewer.
- Changed the audio media library to show an aggregated image for artists and albums that includes a thumbnail from each media item.
Fixes
- Fixed an issue where widgets and viewports are not available when using vertical menubar mode.
- Fixed an issue where redownloading PraiseCharts content would fail silently if the product is not owned by the active account.
- Fixed an issue where the top right icon for docking in the widget context menu is incorrect.
- Fixed an issue where changing apps causes the Console to lose connection.
- Fixed an issue where searching for songs then deleting the search too quickly, results in filtered search results.
- Fixed an issue where pinned annotations are disappearing when choosing an icon.
