OnSong 2019.9

OnSong 2019.9 was released on September 25, 2019. The following items have been added, changed or fixed:

Known Issues

  • There is an issue selecting and scrolling songs in the OnSong Media Library.
  • There is an issue selecting MIDI globals in the MIDI Editor.

Additions

  • Added the ability to apply line formatting in the song editor by using the "Format..." text menu. »
  • Added the ability to change the name of channels to match MIDI devices. »
  • Added the Show and Hide actions for the Quick Pick option under User Interface section of the actions menu. »
  • Added the ability to identify and differentiate the types of audio media files. »
  • Added the ability to see the number of songs that an audio media item belongs to with the ability to tap to see the name of songs. »
  • Added the ability to convert audio media files within lists. »
  • Added a link to the manual on the AirTurn PED configure screen. »
  • Added the ability to remove the key of the songs so it's not specified.
  • Added a warning when deleting audio media that is assigned is currently links to a song.
  • Added a warning when changing restriction of a song through the metadata editor to prevent lockouts.

Changes:

  • Changed the way sorting works to remove any punctuation, placing "'Tis" in the "T" section, for instance.
  • Changed setting custom MIDI program change and control change names to be on a per channel basis.
  • Changed the Show Quick Pick action to Toggle since it shows and hides quick pick.
  • Changed the default setting for smart quote conversion to not include Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and Czech.
  • Changed how restrictions operate to allow editing of rights even if the edit restriction has been set.
  • Changed the metadata editor to prevent rights from being changed if the restriction was set since changing the metadata information has no effect anyway.
  • Changed how the topics list functions to only return songs matching the topic in the current book.
  • Changed the MIDI Event editor to validate MIDI events before allowing them to be created.
  • Changed the MIDI Triggers list to display custom program, control, and channel names.
  • Changed the MIDI event list to show custom program, control, and channel names.

Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where the Quick Pick feature does not function in iOS 13.
  • Fixed an issue where title in the heads up display was not displaying under iOS 13.
  • Fixed an issue with layout of heads up display options under iOS 13.
  • Fixed an issue where editing a MIDI event in the MIDI global editor would cause a duplicate entry.
  • Fixed an issue where the font gets smaller when you use higher resolutions with lyrics projection.
  • Fixed an issue with audio files needing to be started twice when using a Bluetooth pedal.
  • Fixed an issue with Chromecast removing colons in text.
  • Fixed an issue where the menubar does not respond to touches when animating the blink.
  • Fixed an issue with text overlapping the search bar when searching for SongSelect songs in landscape orientation on iOS 9 and 10.
  • Fixed an issue where the songs menu is partially hidden when the menubar automatically hides on iOS 12 and higher.
  • Fixed an issue where the USB-C HDMI adapter would report 4K support but not support it which caused second screen sizing issues.
  • Fixed an issue when configuring the AirTurn S6, tapping on the screen when in App Direct mode is setting arrow key mode actions instead.
  • Fixed an issue with the status bar text and icons appearing black when viewing the chord diagram library editor on iPhone.
  • Fixed an issue where section labels in preferences menus are not abiding by safe area insets on newer iPhones.
  • Fixed an issue with superscript being applied incorrectly when viewing chords in the Roman numeral system.
  • Fixed an issue where chords overlap section labels when only chords and section labels are enabled.
