Page Layout

OnSong uses th' concept o' a sheet o' paper t' render chord charts, savvy? Arrr, this be allowin' th' size o' fonts an' other elements t' be measured relative t' th' paper size. OnSong displays this virtual sheet o' paper with th' width o' th' device reflectin' th' width o' th' sheet o' paper. This means that roatin' th' device into landscape orientation will make th' font appear larger, matey.

Th' page layout section contains th' followin' settings that effect not only how OnSong draws chord charts on th' screen, but also as device settings fer printin'.

Margins

Adjust th' margins o' th' page t' inset th' chords an' lyrics from th' edge, ye scallywag. Margins can be set fer th' left, right, top an' bottom margins separately. Options include 0", 1/8", 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 3/4", 1", 1-1/4" an' 1-1/2". Default be 3/4". Remember t' maintain some top margin t' compensate fer th' menubar an' status bar which overlap th' chord chart, Arrr!

Paper Size

Paper size be used t' determine th' width an' height o' th' song page. Options include:

  • US Letter which be 8.5" by 11". Default.
  • US Legal which be 8.5" by 14".
  • Tabloid which be 11" by 17".
  • A5 which be 148mm by 210mm.
  • A4 which be 210mm by 297mm.
  • A3 which be 297mm by 420mm.

Paper Orientation

Th' paper orientation refers t' if th' page be in portrait or landscape orientation. Portrait be selected by default, me hearty.

Include Page Numbers

This option determines if page numbers should be displayed. This be enabled by default an' be only used when printin' documents as a default settin', Blimey!
