Read The Bleepin’ Manual

Clickety-Click Menu Thingy

The menu bar is basically your remote control for all the bleepin' tools you need to wrangle your music like a boss. Feeling fancy? Customize it to shuffle stuff around or yeet buttons you don't want. By default, it's got all these absolute fire items:

Yummy Tunes Menu

Your command center for song domination. This is where you flex your library, import bangers, throw 'em into sets, manage your books, & peep different song collections. Basically your music filing cabinet, but like, actually organized (shocking, we know).

Lemme Share This

That icon that looks like a lil' arrow breakin' outta a box? Totes lets you share your current tune or set in ALL the ways — exporting, emailing, printing, wireless beamin', the whole shizzle.

Monitor Mayhem

Looks like a computer screen & lets you hook up an external monitor or projector to OnSong (fancy flex). Grab an Apple Digital AV Adapter or AirPlay it to an AppleTV, & boom — you're projecting lyrics for your adoring fans, or displaying chord charts on a stage monitor. You\u{2019}re basically a tech wizard now.

Beats & Vibes Menu

Headphones icon ftw! Lets you pair an audio track to vibe with while reading your chord sheet. Configure your metronome tempo, time signature, song duration for autoscroll, & search for alternate versions through the iTunes search. You\u{2019}re welcome.

Actions Editor

This icon opens the Actions Editor so you can trigger stuff from foot pedals, MIDI, screen taps, & keyboard shortcuts. Live performance? More like live domination.

The Flex Zone

Right there in the center of the menubar is your current song name, just vibin\u{2019}. Swipe left & right (or right-click like a boomer) to switch views — check out your set, preview the next banger, or stare at a timer. Wild.

Shout Out Menu

Taps & foot pedal presses can ping your crew in real time. Teamwork makes the dream work, amirite? Better communication for when you\u{2019}re crushin\u{2019} it live.

The Filing Cabinet

Plop your current song into a set or book, or slap it with a star icon if you\u{2019}re feelin\u{2019} it. When there\u{2019}s an icon attached, the star lights up in the menu bar. Bling bling.

Bonus Stuff

Icon looks like pages with a checkmark. Tap it to peep files hanging with your song. You can also jump into the Song Editor from here to edit metadata & tweak text versions. Extra spicy.

Doodle Pad

Looks like a note with a pen — use this to scribble annotations & drawings all over your chord chart or sheet music. Set up viewports, toggle widgets, get artsy. We\u{2019}re not judging.

Vibe Settings

Slider icon = your shortcut to making your sheet look however you want. Tweak font sizes & styles, highlight colors, transpose/capo the song, flip sections on/off (header, lyrics, chords, diagrams, capo stuff). It\u{2019}s basically a song makeover station.

The Secret Menu

Gear icon = gateway to advanced power tools, editors, & settings. For when you wanna get really nerdy.

The menubar shows your progress through a setlist as a thin, teal bar of hope. Wanna customize that? Head to Settings » Menu Settings » Menubar » Show Setlist Progress
