Console

OnSong Console be a premium feature that gives ye th' ability t' manage yer OnSong library from a web browser on another computer, savvy? Ye can import and write chord charts t' see a preview o' th' chord chart in real-time as ye type. When ye be all done makin' changes, save it back t' yer device's library, matey.

Video Tutorial

Openin' th' Console screen displays a video tutorial about settin' up and usin' console. Take some time t' watch th' video tutorial as it covers th' common use patterns o' th' web-based application. Ye can also view th' video tutorial, frequently asked questions (FAQ) and in th' OnSong Console user manual.

Enable Console

If ye do not have access t' th' Console, ye will be prompted t' upgrade. Tap on th' Enable Console button at th' bottom o' th' screen t' enable Console on yer device. Once ye be finished usin' Console, ye can tap Disable Console if ye like, Arrr!

Web Address

Once enabled, a web address will appear at th' bottom o' th' screen under th' Enable/Disable Console button. Type this into a web browser location bar t' load th' Console web application. Tap and hold on th' web address t' copy it into th' clipboard, savvy?

This web address can be either an IP address (four numbers between 0 and 255 separated by periods) that changes as ye switch wireless networks or a human-readable hostname with th' .local suffix. Tap on th' web address t' toggle between both formats. Since some networks and computer software do not permit hostnames on th' local network, th' IP address format be th' default. If ye be usin' an IP address, be sure that ye be typin' in th' web address from this screen each time ye use console. Don't bookmark th' IP address as it may change, ye scallywag.
